SELKIRK TV released a new episode this week of its original show - The Future Of Pickleball - with special guest, and creator of the Dink, Thomas Shields.

In this episode, host Paul Olson and Thomas Shields explore a wide range of topics, including the inspiring story behind The Dink's creation, how The Dink is shaping the future of pickleball content, and predictions on the evolution of pickleball. Plus, the pair discuss Thomas Shields' vision for the future of the sport, as well as the exciting strategies for growing pickleball globally.

"My thoughts on the trajectory of pickleball change by the month," said Thomas Shields. "To me, the biggest question mark is whether or not MLP and the PPA Tour are mainstay spectator sports that can become the next PGA TOUR."

Thomas Shields entered the pickleball landscape after growing up in a tennis family and gaining some racket sports industry experience alongside his Uncle, who ran a tennis company. Once his father discovered pickleball and built a court, Shields decided to launch a pickleball business with the mission of becoming "the ESPN of pickleball." Since, the brand has become a content machine and leader in the pickleball space, and will be further expanding with many more upcoming project launches in 2023.
