Meet Myda Pham — a 14-year-old multi-sport athlete with a big love for pickleball, a cheerful spirit, and a passion for helping others grow.
Myda first picked up a paddle around 2020. After discovering Selkirk in 2023 (and it’s been Selkirk ever since!), she entered her first Junior PPA tournament in April 2024 and earned bronze in mixed. Since then, she’s been on a roll: 9 medals in 2025, 8 medals so far in 2026, including three straight singles golds, plus multiple podium finishes at 4.5+. She also took gold at the inaugural Junior APP tournament with her brother, Adym, and made her first Open appearance at the PPA Challenger in April 2026.
Off the court, Myda loves giving back—assisting with Junior clinics and encouraging players from beginners to advanced juniors. Her positive attitude and supportive partnership earned her a Junior PPA Sportsmanship Award in 2025.
In addition to pickleball, Myda is a freshman on her high school varsity volleyball team, won a regional flight 1 soccer championship at age 12, also plays basketball and golf. When not competing, you might find her playing guitar or piano with some sweet vocals.
She plays with heart, competes with purpose, and believes the best part of the game is helping everyone around her get better.
