Player Bio

Born in Porto Alegre, Brazil, Rafa Lenhard grew up in Southern California, where he played tennis at a high level and earned a spot on the Cal Poly tennis team. After being introduced to pickleball by a former coach, Lenhard fell in love with the sport, began training, and eventually started competing.

Lenhard’s breakout performance came at the 2025 PPA San Clemente event, where he defeated Ben Johns, Noe Khlif, and Zane Navratil to reach his first-ever pro tour quarterfinal. Lenhard signed with the PPA Tour in January 2026, and since then, he has earned numerous PPA Challenger medals and PPA Tour medals and was drafted to an MLP team.
