Why do you need a pickleball-specific shoe versus traditional running shoes?

Traditional running shoes lack the ideal traction for a pickleball court and don’t have the support needed for the game’s sudden lateral movements or pivots. Selkirk’s CourtStrike shoe was uniquely designed for pickleball — every move, every point. Behind the Product

The CourtStrike pickleball shoe started as an observation — many pickleball players were using regular running or tennis shoes while playing. These lack the ideal traction for a pickleball court and don’t have the support needed for the game’s sudden lateral movements or pivots.

As we do with every Selkirk innovation, we first went to the drawing board with a mission: create a shoe uniquely designed for pickleball. Several prototypes later, the LABS S01 and S02 were released to our LABS members for testing and rigorous feedback. We truly believe that no product gets that Selkirk logo until we’re confident our pickleball community will love it.

Players loved the original CourtStrike shoes, but we didn’t stop there. We made data-driven design decisions using player feedback to make them even better.

Better rubber: The upgraded abrasion-resistant rubber is tougher and more durable, lasting longer and withstanding intense games.

Extra wear-resistant protection: New added protective material around the bottom shoelace area better prevents wear and tear.

Selkirk Sport 6-month Sole Warranty

Selkirk Sport CourtStrike and CourtStrike Pro Pickleball shoes are covered by a 6-month Sole Warranty for the outsole. This warranty covers instances where the outsole is worn down and exposes the midsole within 6 months from the purchase date.

Warranty Details:

The warranty only covers the rubber outsole of the shoe. Any damage to the toe bumper or upper material of the shoe is not covered under the outsole warranty.
Each sole warranty claim is limited to a one-time replacement.
Selkirk Sport reserves the right to evaluate and decide whether the shoe qualifies for replacement.
Should the purchased shoe be discontinued, store credit in the amount of the original purchase price on the invoice may be applied toward another pair of shoes.
Sole warranties are valid in the United States and Canada.

How long will it take to receive my order?
Orders are processed within 1-2 business days. Standard shipping via FedEx Ground takes approximately 5-7 days for delivery. For expedited shipping, there's a 1-2 business day processing time before it ships. Orders placed over the weekend will ship the following Tuesday. Please note that during product launches, high-volume periods, and holidays, processing and shipping times are not guaranteed and will likely be extended due to increased order volume.

What are my options for expedited shipping?
To optimize the customer experience according to individual needs, we offer expedited shipping through various carriers, selectable at checkout. Great Shoe, minor cosmetic frustration
It’s a great shoes, it fits true to size and is definitely designed for people with wide feet. I have been really enjoying playing them and they feel great.
My only issue has been part of the selling point to me was the look of the shoe and it proved to not be court resistant. In my old ASICS the look never faded due to the court rubbing the shoe but I have found pretty quickly some of the style doesn’t hold.
That’s my only complaint, if you are looking for a great pickleball shoe than this is the one to buy, just be weary if you drag your feet on cross court dinks

Foot pain relief!!!!
I currently play 6 days a week. I was rotating two pair of shoes I originally bought for racquetball but after a while my feet began to ache before I finished a game. I did some research, checked reviews and looked at value. Selkirk Court Strike seemed to “fit” what I was looking for. I ordered on line. I have worn them 18 times, about 100 games, as of this review and can state that I am completely satisfied with the fit and comfort these shoes. I wear 10.5 and the size ran true to what I expected! Love them!
